Hexecutioner, Grimloch, Belmondo, Dipp, and Balmir returned the talisman to the Church of Traladara and learned about Seren Jagal, a resourceful man traveling Karameikos and provisioning bands of evil demi-humans with fortifications and equipment. The Karameikan army was shifting forces to eastern side of the country to deal with the threat. The party traveled with troops to Castellen Keep to investigate an abandoned monastery where Seren was rumored to be operating.
